First time visitors will find a lobby with friendly people who are there to greet you and make you feel welcome. It is our conviction that however large a church ever gets, it should maintain that welcoming “family” atmosphere.
Our
weekend worship experience is designed specifically as a public space for the unconvinced to examine the
claims of Christianity. On any given weekend, Eastpoint may have a
significant number of people who have not yet made a faith commitment to Christ. Our aim is to minister the love and grace of Jesus to the lost,
and to challenge Christ-followers to love God, connect with others, serve the Kingdom, and grow into self-trained disciples of Jesus.
We promote Message Focus Groups, and
Life Groups (small groups) as the primary means of going deeper in the
Word, growing in relationship with others, and becoming the disciples that
Jesus intended for us to be.
We encourage those who attend on the
weekend to “try on” the small group experience in one of our discipleship events/seminars. These events usually take the form of larger
Discipleship courses with a small group format, Marriage and Family courses
designed to prepare, strengthen, and resource marriages, and outreach events
where we serve in the trenches to show Jesus’ love to the community.
