Our History

Eastpoint Church is a non-denominational daughter church of Life Center in Spokane, WA.  We held our first services in January of 2003.  The actual beginning was with a core group of about 90 people who started to meet in October of 2002.  Eastpoint experienced explosive growth in our first year and quickly outgrew our initial facility on Argonne.  After searching and looking at many different options in the valley, we finally leased 35,000 square feet of the old K-Mart building at the corner of Sullivan and Sprague, which is where we are today.  The facility has been ideal for the growth that God has given us.

Our Mission

Our God-given mission: Eastpoint Church exists to help those who are far from God to become fully devoted followers of Jesus.  Everything we do is designed to produce…

  • Passionate Lovers of God, who are…
  • Vitally Connected to others, that…
  • Serve the Kingdom of God, who continue to…
  • Grow into Self-feeding Disciples of Jesus, making disciples of others
Our Values
Our core values are non-negotiable belief systems that drive everything we do at Eastpoint. They are guiding principles that determine how we relate to each other and our world. Those values can be remembered with the helpful acronym “REACH.”
  • Relational – When it comes to the essential matters of our faith, we are inflexible. We will die on the hill for the Trinity, the authority of Scripture, and the Church as the hope of the world. However, when it comes to non-essential matters of faith, we value being in relationship over being “right.” Every ministry at Eastpoint is built on the value of unity in relationships. We are team oriented and community focussed.
  • Excellence – God is worthy of our very best efforts. This means we regularly and ruthlessly assess what we do and how we do it. We value simplicity over complexity.
  • Authentic – Though our desire is to execute ministry with excellence, we also want to be real and transparent. We value raw authenticity and we don’t mind the mess that ministering to real people can often bring.
  • Creative – We value taking creative risks for God. We want to be innovative in our approach to ministry and to keep it fresh and current.
  • Healthy – We believe a healthy church is a growing church. We want all disciples at Eastpoint to become fully committed, doctrinally sound, missionally minded disciples of Jesus. We want to care for the wounded sheep, heal them, restore them to relationship with God, and see them transform into the image of God’s Son.
